Tra Cielo e Neve

What To Expect

Our tours start Mid April, and run through October We provide an intimate (no more than 10 people per week), personalized, exclusive experience.
Instruction, if desired, is included in all of our tours.

We have daily and weekly programs, personalized to our client’s needs. The tour fees includes your hotel at the 3 star family run Hotel Impero (www.hotelimperocortina.it), with breakfast only, and parking. You are responsible for your transportation to and from Cortina (1.5 hrs north of the Venice airport). It is recommended that you rent a car, so that you are more mobile, as you may want to make an afternoon trip into Brunico (45min), Munich (3 hours away), Austria (30 minutes), or Venice. However, if you like, we can arrange for a taxi service for you.

All of the Cortina ski areas (18 in our region alone, the furthest of which is an hours drive or bus ride) are serviced by a free ski bus service, that goes to each ski area every 20 minutes, year-round. This is an amazing service for Downhill acess, and out-and-back hiking. We also provide access to Cicli Cortina, which is arguably the best shop in the region. I have exclusive entry and use of this facility, and their techs, as a race coach and former professional.

We encourage you to bring your own equipment. However, we can arrange the rental or purchase of exceptional bikes from the Pinnarello factory in Treviso, if you prefer, or Colnago, from Cicli Cortina, our exclusive shop affiliation in Cortina.

Look at the photos. Go to Cortina.com to get a flavor for our community. Take a look at your hotel (hotelimperocortina.it). Think about riding on the same roads as Coppi, Merckx, Hinault, and Indurain. We have amazing mountain bike adventures as well, in one of the most dramatic mountain ranges in the world, with extensive lift acess. Imagine spending a week immersed in spactacular scenery and legendary riding, with an amazing guide, great food, and all that Italian culture has to offer.
